This pretty much says it. There's nothing worse than being tied down to some cranky bitch that is constantly trying to analyze your thoughts and break you down. "Sometimes I don't want to hang out with you" doesn't sit well with most girls, but for me, that's the truth.

Everyone has to find the right person, etc, but there's nothing worse than being with the wrong person. It seems like you're the least likely to find "the one" when you're actively looking. I think the best approach is to do what you're passionate about, and in time, you'll find someone to share that with. Settling usually means losing a lot of freedom and being miserable.

I've been basically single for like 5 years now minus a brief month or so. I'm pretty content with it most of the time. I guess some days it does suck, but when I think about how many people I know who get stuck in shitty relationships I feel a lot better about it. I pretty much do what I want when I want and answer to no one and I like that.

The people that say it's fun to be single have usually been single for less than a year. They're also the people that when you talk to them a few months later are in another relationship already Sure it's fun for a time...but that can get old. And that time varies from person to person.
