i've caught several. seem to pick them up more often when i'm drifting live or cut bait for flounder. my sister caught one flounder fishing with us once and just had to keep him. he didn't survive in captivity. lasted a couple days or something.

i don't know if hermit crabs really go for treats. i've only seen lebron get in his food bowl maybe 3 times. it seems like they like to socialize though. the first time i brought home friends for him they were climbing all over each other and making really loud noises.
