What does that have to do with welfare or WIC?

My friend was going through grad school for engineering when his wife gave birth, and they relied on WIC to help feed their baby.

The president's mom was on welfare and also a grad student, and he turned out pretty successful.

Sterilization doesn't work for the goals you aim for, because it's overwhelmingly environment in our society that determines someones usefulness than genetics. You can sterilize poor people, but that doesn't mean "rich" people don't have screwed up lives that cause their kids to turn to various degenerate activities.

Agreed but at the same time I find the whole thing absolutely fascinating. I have a collection of eugenics texts and social engineering texts from the 1910s-1950s that are amazing to read in the context of today. Crappy antique stores in Appalachia are a treasure trove of books on these topics.

I saw mostly white people on wic when I worked in a grocery store in high school. Because like 50 black people lived in my county total, and they all went to food lion (I worked at lowes, the only other grocery store in the county)

$20k is NOTHING, especially since they have to pay taxes on that.

I'd say maybe $500-700k is more appropriate, although it's not something you can really put a price on.

They'll all probably blow the money on something stupid... it's not like most of them have kids to take care of...

i have to admit I don't feel really feel bad at all for the prisoner sterilization part, if they were violent offenders no biggie, maybe try it again (the rest is bullshit though)
