Used to be like that way back when I was looking for jobs and worked at Enterprise for a while. It was hell on Earth and I dreaded going in every morning, but especially on Monday. It was as much the shit work as it was the shitty coworkers (although not all of them were terrible and I keep up with a couple even now).
Now I have almost no stress about Monday. My wife was groaning last night about the weekend ending and having to go back to school, but I was like eh, just means I have to get up earlier. Oh well. Like my job and really enjoy my coworkers, so can't complain too much. 6/19/2017 10:22:37 AM

I definitely get the "Sunday Scaries"
I just try to have a routine on Sunday night and keep things low key. It also helps that almost everyone in my office that I work with teleworks on Monday so I rarely even have to talk to anyone if I don't want to so it's a nice transition into the work week.
The weekends just go by so fast and you just don't get half the shit done you want to. I think it's a mix of regret from not doing more with your time off and also anticipating being locked into a week of commitments.
I wish I could work 4 10s or something. 5 days on and 2 days off seems like a bad deal. 6/19/2017 10:29:47 AM

I hear about this more and more. I get a little anxious on Sunday nights too, but I no longer lose sleep. I have a coworker who is routinely late on Mondays because she can't sleep at all on Sunday nights. I'm glad I never got to that point, but the Sunday Scaries is NOT a good feeling. 6/19/2017 2:34:41 PM
