^^^^^ you also have to realize for the past two years I worked at poverty wages. I qualified for Foodstamps. so before you go on please not the income was not there so yes it doesn't look amazing and that is why i'm revamping a few things.

Cass I got your replies but i think you were the only one but thanks for the gray color suggestion i tried your suggestion to upload the picture on the website which didn't work too well, did you get the Behr samples and test before you did the whole thing?

@kiljadn furniture is dark espresso not black but there is not a huge dif. btw the two.

Wolfpackgrrr was the one who suggested the website.

And no I didnt get samples. I just went to Home Depot and winged it. I just compared the colors to some others before making a decision.

I thought interior design was basically the whole shebang - paint, furniture, style, possibly even new structural changes (i.e., gutting a bathroom or kitchen and redoing everything)

I love having an awesome looking house, but having to make decision about what would look good and what wouldn't. I'd rather leave for a weekend and come back with all of it already done for me.

Interior Design includes:
Life Safety Plans (Fire escape routes and door sizes)
Floor Plans and layout of furniture
ADA stuff (clearances around doors, tables, the room, etc)
Lighting
Flooring
Ceiling tile or whatever material selection
Sound ratings of walls
Furniture selection (chairs, tables, etc)
Furniture materials (leather, cloth, etc)
Window treatments
Colors

Interior decorating includes:
Deciding what type of shit you put on the walls of your bed room
What comforter you put on your bed

MOST IMPORTANT: You get a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design you don't need a degree to be an interior decorator.

I did 2 years working with AmeriCorps so I could give back after I graduated with my M.A. You work for a non profit and get paid next to nothing so you could experience what your clients have to deal with. but yes the wages are so low you can qualify for foodstamps. The work isn't any different from a normal FT job.

Is that why you're in Cali? Seems like a big NGO would have figured out there's such a thing as cost of living. I mean, the Navy will be giving me more of an allowance for housing cause San Diego is much more expensive than say Jacksonville, FL.

you like black and white, either go with purple as a third accent color or drop it and go all in.

"members receive a modest, monthly living allowance to help cover the basic necessities"
that's from their website they do it according to the fed. poverty levels

Here it is off the website again for a household of 1,

Quote :
"
Gross monthly income (130 percent of poverty) $1,174

Net monthly income (100 percent of poverty) $ 903 "
