took my wife to el rodeo on our first date; they had a decent vegetarian selection.

now she's a meat-eater, so i don't have to worry.

Remedy is great for vegetarian food, but their non-veg stuff is overpriced and boring as hell.

The people at Irregardless are the biggest assholes on the planet. I and a few other couples I know got incredibly rude, snooty responses to requests for catering. I'll never give them a dime of my money.

I'd recommend The Borough, but I do that for everything.

Udupi Cafe in Cary is also all vegetarian, btw.

hmm, I've never had issues with the staff at Irregardless, but I've also never approached them for catering.

awesome"

Seconded! (or 9thed or 14thed whatever we're up to now). If you have to eat vegetarian food, that place is really good for it.

Oh yeah, Martin's Curry and Rice is also an awesome place to bring vegetarians! And the owner is sooooooooooooooo nice. One of the nicest guys I've met. And if you go on a Tuesday, he makes these special dinners that use all locally grown ingredients. The rest of the week he features lots of fresh, locally grown produce and one of his protein options is tofu. And he takes customer suggestions on toppings to carry and actually follows through on them!

i generally like veggie burgers, but red robins are just terrible (granted i've only tried them twice, but that was more than enough). even a burger king veggie burger is better than red robin imo. red robin does their real burgers well, but their veggie burgers are enough to turn the ceo of peta into a carnivore.

Remedy sucks ass. Seriously just buy boca burgers and stay at home if you are thinking of going there.

one big problem with vegetarian "friends" is their double standard for meals. they'll expect you to have vegetarian shit for them when you cook for a group, etc, etc., but do you ever see vegetarians cook up some meat for their normal friends? no, you don't; we're always forced to eat like fucking rabbits and be starving soon after. why don't you bastards go buy me a steak and cook it. and by the way, use separate utensils because i don't want your fake ass meat substitute bullshit touching my real food.
