The one in Morrisville is well maintained, but the checkout lines there still make me want to ram hot pokers in my eyes. I can't comprehend how cashiers can be so slow sometimes, or how customers can be so dense. I will be happy when Target opens.

^I love the one in Morrisville. It's always clean, and the aisles are nice and large, so I can maneuver around the idiots who block the path for everyone else.

Cary is the crime capital of NC.

While it is probably about as safe as it gets, that doesn't mean every area is totally safe. There are some areas that could use a little work.

^Exactly. I'm not saying it's got murderers and rapists jumping out of dark alleyways 24/7. But it's absolutely ridiculous to say that "everywhere" in Cary is safe. I live in Cary, and in the neighborhood across the street from me, there has been so much crime (and two murders) in the past two years, they're building a nice new police station. Just because it's a nice place to live, and relatively harmless doesn't mean it's always safe everywhere here.

It's people like you who are ready to jump the gun and convict someone solely because "random crimes just can't happen in my city."

Didn't you post essentially the same thing about Cary (and why there can't be random murders in Cary) in the Brad Cooper thread? Or am I confusing you with someone else? (sorry if I am).

Thanks for clarifying. And I think this has been the most irrelevant threadjack in a long time.

Or the one in Morrisville. Either is a better choice."

They are currently under construction (which has been mentioned in this thread). It's MUCH MUCH better than it used to be. As far as the parking lot, yeah it was a clusterfuck of non-driving people. I have almost seen 100 people side-swipe each other from drivers cutting across parking lanes. That shit irritates me beyond belief because that's how my first and only car accident happened in my hometown at a previous job in college. But the parking lot is gonna get better once the project is complete on Nov. 4th.

It does close at midnight, and don't be that person who runs in at 11:59 or that is shopping all night long and thinks it's acceptable to keep shopping after midnight when you hear the pages at close. It tried to be 24-hrs after Christmas in 2009 but they ended that in Jan as they weren't make enough money to stay open. Cary basically shuts down at 9pm. Sad, actually.

It used to be worse. Now, they only tow one car a night. I spoke to the guy to see if my friend could park his new Corvette outside for a few minutes and he said he wasn't gonna touch a Corvette ( ) and that they can only tow one car anyway.

"why in the world does the Walmart in Garner scare you?

[Edited on July 20, 2011 at 11:44 PM. Reason : the one in cary is like a 3rd world country]"

The Garner Wal-Mart is ghetto as hell, especially at night. Several creepy folks walking outside around the store, some weird employees, and VERY strange customers that always harass me when I'm there. I try to go there only when I need my prescriptions filled during the morning, as my doctor is in Garner. Otherwise, I'd go to my store. Garner parking lot is always filled with people sitting in old cars with rims and jacked up while Cary rarely has that. Just an observation....

"Cary walmart is 100% creepy. With two targets so close, I never go there unless I need auto stuff after the auto parts stores close. Walked up to the register once with 3 gallons of transmission fluid and they asked how it was going? It's almost midnight and you see three gallons of cheap transmission fluid. Guess."

What a dumb comment. That's their job.
