A judge can garnish your wages for student loans, FYI,

You got this all wrong, bro. This is America. You don't actually state your intention to shirk your responsibility, you just do it, all while maintaining the facade that you will honor your debts. Get with the times.

why did you let the loans go into default anyway? there are like 23847029834073208934 types of deferments/forbearances you can get by filling out some paperwork and being like, look i applied for 75 FT jobs but didn't get one

i mean you can't do this FOREVER but you can do it for awhile to prevent them from ever going into default.

can you not ask for a forbearance now for hardship or something and get them to change the status from default to forbearance? i don't know how that works.
