Feet, nine times out of ten, are gross. Heels can help with a more toned calf look, but I prefer a girl in flats any day of the week.

Heels are very sexy. They accentuate the legs significantly. In a girl who is tall and lithe, I think they have their greatest effect. It also has to do with the confidence level, and how a woman walks in them. In addition, heels do a great job of showcasing a great butt.

There is also a sense of delicacy you can get from heels, because it requires poise, balance, and controlled efforts to maintain posture and stability. That is, if you're wearing them properly.

I wear them most of the time. I like the way my clothes fit when I wear them, and love being tall(er). Even my flip-flops are wedges.

At times, but generally I don't notice. I'm not a big fan of feet (like the opposite of a fan maybe) and I like short girls. Unless you're using them with nice legs and something that accentuates your ass I'm going to go stand on some soft ground til you come around.

Flats are hideous on most women. They bastardize any calf definition you may have and make you look like you work at the Clinique counter.

The main issue is that a woman's calf is devoid of most of the natural muscle tissue found in men's legs, thus the advent and popularity of high heeled shoes to hide this genetic flaw. Glamour shots of woman almost always have them in heels or posed in such a way that their legs are extended, concealing the unattractive flaccid calf look that doesn't flatter anyone. If you're lucky enough to have calves that retain a measure of structure and form in flat soled shoes, more power to you. But if you're in the much larger group that straddles the line between cankles and bow legs, you're better off either hiding your legs behind pants and dresses, or propping them up with stilettos.

For some reason, throwing on a cute pair of heels (or underwear) can completely turn my mood around if I'm feeling emo. I only have maybe 2 pairs that work that magic though. I really want more fun heels, but when I buy shoes my practical side usually wins out and I buy more boring ones because they are more versatile.

Meh...heels aren't a big deal (although this is coming from a short guy...I've dated taller girls and it never bothered me when they wore heels).

They might make your legs look nicer...but they won't turn an ugly face pretty and they won't instantly take 15 lbs off you either. So fuck it and wear whatever is comfortable or makes you feel better. Save the money you would spend on a couple nice pairs of heels and buy a gym membership or hire a personal trainer instead.

I love heels but I don't really wear them often. Not because I'm a giant, but because I usually wear gym clothes everywhere.

Saturday I wore a pair of 4'' heels all night.

If you think heels are uncomfortable, then you're probably buying cheap shoes. Spending the extra dollar bucks on a quality pair of heels is totally worth it and soooooo much more comfortable.
