Mine was 75 bucks originally I think, cause they wanted it at the country club. But not enough people bought tickets, so they ended up moving it to a cheaper place but it was still $40 or $45. And most of the people that went were just locals anyway. Why spend that much money to hang out with people you see all the time?

Mine was $50 or $75 I think. And the $75 price was for open bar. We had it at Whiskey River and it included a buffet (which wasn't that great). I think around 200 people showed up, so about a third of of our class. It wasn't that great. I mostly viewed it as an opportunity to see your specific class "buddies" but it got old real quick. After the usual questions of where do you live, are you married, what are you doing, etc most of the conversations dried up real quick.

On the flip side a lot of girls I thought were hot in high school no longer were, hehe

I definitely wouldn't do it again if given the chance though.

And they wonder why nobody wants to go this year. I think it's going to be a party of 10.

Also, when they say food and drink, pretty sure they mean Hardee's catering and hunch punch. If we're lucky. It's actually prob BYOB. Warren County is ghet. They prob blew the planning budget on the DJ.

My 10 year reunion is next year and I'm wondering how much they are going to ask for...

I mean they were charging $15.00 for our 5 year reunion at City Limits for 2 hours (no drinks but free bull rides )

Just checked mine after reading this...

$25 a person...$35 for a couple. Sounds about right for my broke ass town (Whiteville).

And I will not be going. Not wasting a weekend going back to that shit hole and see how most of them have failed at life.

PJ, Party Juice, Jungle Juice ... basically, Kool-Aid mixed with everclear and a bunch of fruit.

Seriously. WC is ghet. But entertaining!

$90 for hunch punch, a hot dog and a t-shirt.

So the whippersnappers can see what's in store for them in a few years.

^ I'm kind of surprised I don't run into people from high school ever in Raleigh. But it seems like most of the people I knew from high school moved away.

"

I think that sums up why most people don't want to go. 95% cant afford it and the 5% that $40 dollars doesn't really mean anything don't want to go hangout with burnouts.

I wouldn't mind seeing people from high school

But knowing Broughton, they'll have it in the gym and charge $150 for cafeteria food and 1 can of Bud Light per person.

^3 more years til my husband's 20 year reunion.

Little Caesar's became the worst pizza when they started that Hot n Ready shit.

My wife's reunion was $20 and they had it in another county (granted, there were 50 people in her graduating class and the best place to hold a party in her hometown was Shoney's), and mine is $40 and I could see all the same people from my high school by going to the Lowe's Foods by my parent's house and hanging out in the stockroom.

I am trying to organize ours for next year. I went to Southern Vance. I'm trying to balance between making it nice enough for the people who can afford to pay more to come and make it affordable enough for people who can't afford much to come. I don't want it to be too ghetto but I also don't want it to be $90

good luck with frankies. half your class will want to bring all of their kids, the other half hates kids. some people will be mad there's no free go-karts, while others will be mad there's no free booze.

add: and judging by this thread, $4.61 seems to be the going rate for admission

Cary's last year was like $45 a person in some swanky place in downtown Raleigh. I took the FB route of if I wanted to see anyone whom I cared about I would just message and figured I could spend that $90 better elsewhere. It would have been mildly curious to see who all got fat, ugly, married or whatever.

That's like the transfer orientation at UNCW I went to. It was $100 bucks for a lunch at Wag and a t-shirt. The orientation counselors weren't helping people find places or anything, just hanging out with themselves. And all the presentations were shit I could read (and had already) on the website.

Mine was just a few days ago. 15 year reunion, Millbrook High School.

It was only $30/person $50/couple, but we weren't going to be in town so I didn't go. If I had been in town, adding the cost of a babysitter and all whatnot, I prob wouldn't have gone anyways.
