when I say "nasty as hell" I guess I should have clarified that I meant it towards the more rural foods. I'm watching some variety show (Invincible Youth for those who care) and they (young people included) are going nuts over some meals consisting of something like tofu, dug-up tubers, and bland veggies.

My friends that visited there or did work abroad stayed in Gangnam-gu or the Gangnam District. Has a large expat population as well.

Didn't South Korea use to have a 6 day work week? I know they don't now.

^^^ I bet it was bland, before they added sauce. Sriracha! They would also add other spices/sauces.
