Wat? Obama's approval ratings are horrible and if history holds true with regard to sitting presidents with an economy this bad, he's got no shot. Shit he loses in polls to imaginary candidates - what does that tell you?

If Congress refuses to pass President Obama's Amererican Jobs Act as he presented it, then the bad economy is Congress', not his.

^ That makes a lot sense Not even a jackass liberal like yourself can truly believe that.

That "jobs act" is the same old shit Obama has been trying to pass his entire time in office. Infastructure work he can give out to his union supporters, massive tax increases on the highest income earners, and a bunch of one time benefits that don't do shit to actually help business grow or create long lasting jobs.

That bill was DOA and he's going to use that to blame Congress for not creating jobs. Well the Dems have controlled the Senate now for 3 years and controlled the House for the first 2 years of his regime so I guess he can blame them.

An imaginary president would be better than the trash the republicans are trying to put forward.

And Obama's approval ratings are right below 50%, which is exactly where Bush's were when he WON reelection.

You may want to do a little more research on that American Jobs Act. Turns out no one on the Dem side was willing to present one.

Quote :
"Since World War II, no president has been re-elected with a jobless rate higher than 7.2 percent. That was the number when Ronald Reagan won a landslide victory in 1984; in the 40 years before that, no president had been re-elected with an unemployment rate of more than 5.3 percent. "

The jobs bill hasn't even been picked up by a Democrat.

They don't even want to touch anything of Obama's.

So far Obama has been completely honest with everything that he's done.

He caught Osama.
He's been decreasing troops in the middle east.
His decision to participate in Libya/NATO turned out to be the right decision
He provided his birth certificate.
His decision to give the banks and General Motors a bailout was correct. The banks have been showing record profits and repaid their bailout. General motors repaid their bailout too.

The economy is not Obama's fault. It was Bush's lack of oversight for spending on oversea contractors and war budget, Nixon's gold/dollar separation policy, and Wall Street's Hedgefund and Mortgage Greed and Corruption Scandal that brought down the economy.

As well as Clinton's for cutting military funding in the first place... This meant that Bush had to spend more than what would have been necessary to get the Military where it needed to be.

Everyone always blames Bush when he's not entirely to blame.
There's nothing special about Obama; just another typical politician. I will hand it to him. He is one hell of a salesman...

WHO THE FUCK TOUCHES THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND?! You are briefed on that kind of shit before you meet the woman. How rude.

The weakest argument Obama and any of his supporters/cronies has used: The economy is Bush's fault.

If Obama is going to use the "Bush's Fault" strategy for anything else, he should simply resign.

Blaming your predecessor for any problems you may have isn't leadership. If you didn't think you could handle the problems you KNEW you were going to inherit, maybe you should have thought about not wanting to inherit those problems. You should have stayed in the US Senate, continued to not vote, and loved your life.

You would have been happier and, trust me, we would have been happier.

And to all of the Obama-ites, you don't do yourself any good to keep trying to blame Bush. You look just as weak as your savior, who isn't a community organizer anymore. He's THE PRESIDENT.

So is the argument that the people that elected Bush were dumb... the people the elected Obama should be disappointed... and the next president should be selected by neither of those groups?

That works for me.

the people who are saying this probably mean that bush's deregulation allowed the fucked up trading (the CDS's and ridiculous derivatives) that led to the collapse. but technicaly not bush's fault, just the fault of every idiot conservative who thinks thats a good idea

Just read this:

Quote :
"i heard a 2 black women discussing obama in food lion today and 1 said she didn't vote for him. the one who voted for obama got very very angry at the other lady"

The angry lady was probably angry for realizing she was talking to a racist.
