I happened to be near a Wendy's before heading home, so I picked up a new Wendy's burger for dinner. It's an awful lot like the old Wendy's burger. The patty seems to be a bit thicker, but that's it. However, I eat my burgers plain. My husband said that the tomato seemed to be thicker/better, but it's still a Wendy's burger. I don't see what the big deal is.

tried this out yesterday and really didnt notice any big difference from their standard burgers. The patty didnt look any bigger, the pickles and onions were your standard, limp restaurant fare, and the buttered bun was barely noticeable - if I hadnt known going into it that they buttered the bun then I wouldnt have noticed it.

the best part of the meal was taking the fries and dipping them into my chocolate frosty

but I two tried this two nights ago, and I noticed a big difference- the veggies seem fresher, pickers were better (the one I went to had sweet pickles), and the paties were definitely bigger and juicier. I thought it was an improvement- I can't wait to try their carolina classic on it! Also, I did not notice any change in the buns- they need to toast dem bitches up!

Tried one for lunch today, and the assessments here tend to be accurate. Burger was a little thicker, which was nice. Pickles and tomato were noticeably thicker, which was also nice. My onion was unfortunately sliced too thin--I could barely tell it was there, let alone determine that it was red onion. I also did not notice the bun to be particularly buttery or toasted.

Still, all in all, an improvement. A good thing becomes better. Still no Char-Grill or Five Guys, but a good burger anyway.

I did not experience this. My double with cheese came in the foil wrapper I was expecting. What you're describing sounds like the way red robin does things.

Oh, and fries dipped in the frosty==WIN. I got a small frosty with my meal specifically for this purpose. And fries were dipped. And it was good.

The one I just had from the kildaire farm wendy's in cary came in foil wrapping and tasted pretty decent. Looked smashed just like the old ones but the toppings were edible unlike the usual. I wish the bun looked like the pics.
