^ Easier to train them that young not to bark than waiting. We had ours trained by 4 months not to do the barking bullshit. Meanwhile my mother in law's dogs never shut the fuck up and they're about 3 years old now.

I'm just talking about how young he is, he isn't expected to be a fully trained yet. However he is crate trained and responds to his name (Selby); He also does basic commands like sit and lay with no treats required.

For a 4 month old I think he is doing very well, he is just not social yet with other dogs yet because of how big the dogs are around where I live.

well he dos have a gray beard, schnauzers are supposed to be black and white (salt and pepper) However a few of them have brown in them like mine. If I just walk around the park, girls come to him, so he is my wing man in this town, haha.

My parents had a pewter one growing up.

I actually know a lot about them.
(and will subsequently never ever own one)

so my dog got a hold of a 50mg Tramadol (I only ever had 50's that is how I know the mg) and I couldn't get him to spit it out. However I know for a fact vets use Tramadol for dogs that have moderate pain problems so I'm not worried. He didn't even act sleepy.

The weird part is I haven't had Tramadol prescribed to me in over a year. The only reason I knew it was Tramadol was because I saw him with it before he ate it, but once he saw me coming for him he swallowed it. I'm more worried about the shrooms he keeps trying to eat outside honestly. Now if he ate one of my Morphines or Percocets I would be sticking my finger down his throat. My Dad said if he eats the wrong type of mushroom I can tell him the side effects to expect

I also know a vet who I called, just to verify a 50mg Tramadol was safe for his size and it is. I think he would make a good K9 unit with how he goes through the leaves and woods like a bloodhound trying to find anything to eat (but he doesn't like certain dog treats...)

I pulled out all the shit under my desk and made 100% sure there are no old pills anywhere under there now. I have no idea how he found that Tramadol since I went under my desk prior with a flashlight to prevent something like this.

Just kidding, but I did find a 50mg Tramadol under my desk that he could have gotten a hold of if I didn't do a sweep and I do know a vet (a girl from State)

Hubert Selby Jr died a sober man who overcame his addiction and there is a lot more to his life story than just writing Requiem For A Dream.

Plus Selby didn't get a hold of anything, I was kidding. Everyone that posted in here was so sure I was going to kill the dog because I have to take medicine, so I found it funny.

^It wasn't funny, true or not. You're an idiot and I feel bad for your dog (as well as anyone that has to interact with you on any type of regular basis).

if your dog ever DOES swallow something he shouldn't - hydrogen peroxide will make him throw it back up (1-1.5 tsp)

advice from one dog owner to a new dog owner
