^^ it is supposed to be an example of how I tackled on a daily basis (practice and games); it's not supposed to boost my E-Peen. I was just saying it wasn't cheap due to the option play and it wasn't an ear hole shot since we hit face to face (the whole reason my neck is fucked) Oh and there are no stutter steps, watch it in slow motion. When I hit people I ran like they weren't there. If you agree it was not a cheap shot then why did you name it that in your gallery?

A lot of my friends immediately understood why my neck was like it is after seeing that hit. Especially when you take into account the amount of times it was done.

^ I was on a lot more meds back then

Also if I can push a 220lb+ tailback down with my arms in the fashion of that video, I would be playing College D1. The strategy goes like this: you hit the defender at full speed with facemask to knock him stupid and the momentum of the hit will take care of the rest. Most HS players and even college do arm tackles. I would love to see our Football team delivers hits on tailbacks like that.

See I always thought you act like you do because you're egotistical and strive for attention, not that you were suffering the consequences of your own bad decisions arising from playing football.

Here is my helmet 1/4 into my Sr year (they paint them new every year), you can see where the face mask was messing up the outside and then the crack. I got to keep it because it was useless with that crack and amount of damage around that anchor point. Haha to buy your helmet after your Sr year is $100, I got mine free nigga.

Just to show how much face mask to helmet there was, I'm going on disability soon. It is impossible to move from a single location except for my dog and that is testing on a bad day of pain.

max 155lbs in HS and that wasn't my Sr year.

Being small is sort of what caused this problem, I had to figure out a way to make up for my body weight and the fact I had unreliable shoulders, even after the two surgeries.

sounds like your coach was a moron. He bought cheap helmets and put players in positions their frames weren't capable of supporting.

I don't understand the point of this thread. Are you clinging on to past glory? Are you looking for sympathy? Or is this some indiscreet attempt to claim how awesome you used to be?

What's going on here?

Glory? Are you fucking kidding me? I may have permanently altered my life because of how I used my face mask for impact point and the point of the thread was to show all the people who call me a drug addict and shit how I injured my neck; that was the sole purpose of that video. All you had to do was read this and your question would be so damn stupid:

Quote :
"tomorrow I will show the video and I will go ahead and call that people are going to say it is a cheap shot (even though it is face to face) or to show off a single hit from 6 years ago makes me look like a has been bad ass (or the old you're stuck in HS). However I chose that video clip very purposely because it shows the obvious facemask to helmet contact clearly.. Doctors agreed (3 of them) that this was the cause after seeing my helmet, which I managed to crack from doing this (I can also show a pic of that)."

Also those Helmets were brand new the year before and all High Schools in the Conference buy the same brand/model.

My boyfriend tore his ACL from football. There are still things he can't do as well since the injury. He doesn't take any drugs for it though. I have a metal plate in my ankel from sliding into 3rd base. It hurts when I run and I think lately its been causing me knee problems. I usually just run through it and it gets better.

Sucks that your injuries aren't getting better or you can't live with it. A few weeks back I had a really stiff neck and thought "I bet this is what BlackDog feels like". Did rehab help you out any? Are you still taking drugs along with the botox? Or are you not doing botox anymore because of the high cost?

my sr year I broke one of my helmets, when I hit this guy I ripped two of the four screws out of my helmet and the facemask was just kinda hanging there shit was crazy I wish I would have kept it

I played starting offensive line (right guard)at 180 lbs and starting outside linebacker but playing Oline is the most physical position ever minus the running bc we didnt really run but I used to hit ppl like that everytime I would pull so I say its a fair hit sucks your hurt now though

go ahead and make threads about those injuries/problems, I would read them.

Also I played O-Line too until our coach decided to only let each player play one side of the ball. So I played every special teams possible and defense, but never played O-Line my Sr year because of the coach.

you didn't damage the helmet though, you just stripped the screws so the Helmet it self was still fine.

What's kinda weird is that from 19 to 26 I had chronic pain (started in my left chest, then left arm/chest/shoulder quickly afterwards). By like year 5 every muscle in my upper body was affected.. the biggest I got on pain meds was like a 3 month stretch of taking a vicodin or two a day, but I still suffered a bunch.. at year 5 I found an Osteopath (basically a somewhat mainstream accepted version of physical therapy) and after a year of seeing him I felt alot better.. three years later and I'm not 100%, but I'm basically pain free.

However, the fourth visit I saw that Osteopath he did his adjustments and when I left there I not only was 100% pain free, but I felt INCREDIBLE for the next two days. I was so filled with emotion that I actually thought (and thought until I read this) that I must have had some sort of emotional awakening or something where I became as emotional as I "should" have been all my life (my pain issues derived from a birth defect that wasn't found until it started giving me pain issues at 19).. All that went back to "normal" when the symptoms/pain reappeared a few days after that treatment and I never had a treatment with that Osteopath that had the same result afterwards even though many treatments left me physically feeling similar.

I don't doubt that after having chronic pain for five years that my brain was wired this way and when that pain was taken away the result was possibly that the emotional center of my brain was still in "overdrive" but without the pain stimulus which resulted in my symptoms after that early treatment.

I tried Botox for the 3rd time and we used 2x the amount in the neck that we did the first time. Sadly there were no results and my neck is in fucking agony right now. We are trying to figure out what to do besides upping meds. It's a vicious cycle of either suffering or becoming "dependent" on opiates.

BTW, I'm not on disability yet; it is just one option that is probably going to happen soon. I need a way to pay for a steady supply of weed. haha

I'm a conservative independent politically, but I can't decide if I should go on disability. I hate the idea of taking money from tax payers because of something I did to myself. However it is only 12k a year in NC for 100% and you can't "live" on that. However it would help pay my medical bills and provide some medicinal marijuana each month for a non-addictive pain relief. I dunno what I will end up doing, I hate my parents having to shell out this kind of cash for Botox though with no help from my insurance (because it is not an "approved usage" of Botox. Although it is being used all over the world for problems with chronic muscle tension/spasms just like how I am using it. You are talking 2-5 grand depending on the amount you use and that depends on the pain level and the injection site. Hmmm to take TDub members taxes or not....

back to the dog

My Primary Care Physician over doubled my opiates and switched from 5mg valium 4x to 350mg Soma 4x.

I'm not happy about it, but we have to do something about the pain. Some good news is the people who sell the Botox are giving us a "refund" (not in cash, just the same amount of Botox for free, around 2-3 Grand worth) so it will be up to my Osteopathic Dr. on how much and where to put it.

I'm going to be trying Botox again this coming Friday. We are hoping it was just a bad batch of Botox (which does happen) that caused the last injection to be so bad on my neck instead of helping.
