Got out duck hunting this morning and got 1 hen mallard. Saw tons of wood ducks, but they flew before legal shooting time.

Looking for a new lease for 2012. My current lease is well over an hour drive and it's in a dog county. I would prefer something in Wake, Orange, Chatham county. I can pay per acre depending on whether or not you have turkey, deer, or both.

I'd be happy to meet in person and I can provide references. I'm comfortable with hunting with bow only or gun if allowed.

Aside from that, if anyone has land they are willing to let me lease for turkey season only I would be very interested. I can pay you per bird (state limit 2) or I can pay a flat price for access for the season

Yes, the legs are like chicken wings and they're pretty tasty if you know how to cook them

I mean, how much do you actually taste the meat in a stew? You taste the mater juice and stuff. Not that squirrel meat doesn't taste fine, but it certainly is a little different.

Looking for a lease or club to join for the 2012-2013 season. Deer and turkey preferred. Anyone know of anything?
Something within an hour or so of Raleigh would be ideal.
