I don't recall from the pilot, but in their stories it's Snow White who was put in a glass coffin, not Sleeping Beauty (she wasn't ever put in a coffin, just a bed iirc).

Well, Henry also got a piece, so we should find out for certain.
But this is what Snow White's coffin looked like, and I really think that's what the piece of glass was:

I'm not saying it wasn't...but it landing on the coffin is far more important as Henry thought the mine shaft went to fairy tale land, and it obviously does. 12/5/2011 9:11:24 AM |

I'd be really disappointed if Mr. Gold had been doing something as boring as burying a body.
Digging one up maybe, or checking on something more valuable, but he seems like the kind of guy who wouldn't need to bother with burying a body. 1/1/2012 8:14:17 PM |

Also there are a couple of Mr. Gold tumblrs. I have no idea if any of them are actually done by Carlyle or one of the show's writers. The second one seems more interesting

I missed the first six minutes, how did graham die? did anything else happen at the very beginning? 1/8/2012 10:40:06 PM |
CapnObvious All American 5057 Posts user info edit post |
He died in the last episode. Back in the Fairy Tale world, he is the Huntsman. When he gave the witch a deer's heart instead of Snow White's, she found out and took his as punishment, keeping him somewhat in her pocket. When he betrayed her in the real world, the queen went down to a secret crypt where she kept her vault, pulled out his heart, and killed him by crushing it. (And that's a VERY brief summary).
And yes, I really loved how they handled Rumpelstiltskin in this episode. It will be interesting to hear how that dagger falls into play. 1/8/2012 11:20:58 PM |

Luckily, by the time the box rebooted, the commercial break had just ended...
i'm guessing they cooked the witch somehow and got the bag for the queen...
i saw what was inside and everything so luckily it happened right before the commercial break. 1/15/2012 9:08:00 PM |

The kids acted as if there were only one of them (the boy) and tricked the blind witch into unlocking the cage. She found out after she tied up the girl, and went to grab the boy and got upset. They knocked her into the oven, and locked it with the key they stole off of the witch. Then grabbed the satchel and ran from the house. Queen witch then sent a fireball through her mirror into the mirror on the wall of the gingerbread house, and burned the blind witch inside the oven. That should be right about where you left off.

I don't think he has fairy tale counterpart. Otherwise, he would have been in Storybrooke all along, right? He's listed as "Stranger/Stranger" for all of the episodes he is in, just as Emma is listed as "Emma/Emma." 1/16/2012 2:15:54 PM |

I get the whole "he would have been in storyville all along" bit, but it's not like writers havent taken liberties before or changed the rules in the middle of the game before. I mean we're talking about the writers from lost, kings of the "we've been saying this all along, but now its actually this!" tactic. 1/16/2012 3:39:50 PM |

It looked larger than that box.
I thought it was the guy that Emma slept with/conceived the little boy with...but she didn't seem to recognize him, so I don't know. 1/16/2012 3:50:57 PM |
Beethoven86 All American 3001 Posts user info edit post |
That was my first thought as well, but Emma seemed to genuinely not know him. 1/16/2012 4:52:22 PM |
timswar All American 41050 Posts user info edit post |
Yeah, I was expecting a "the evil witch brings in the kids' dad to scare off Emma" thing, but either Emma has absolutely no recollection of what the dad looks like or she genuinely didn't know the guy.
Also, I have a hard time with the "nobody can leave Storybrook" thing. If that's the case why would MayorQueen even attempt to send the kids to Boston? She would know the rules of her city better than anyone, and since she has the ability to manipulate how the city is formed (she gave Mr. Gold his role/power as a part of their bargain) surely she can make things so that some people can leave. It might take some effort, but it should be doable on some level.
Otherwise the MayorQueen's whole plan for the episode is just a ruse to get Emma to reunite the kids and their dad and that doesn't really seem like something she'd do.
