Just watched the trailer. Definitely Los Santos.

I'm reaaaaaally hoping it won't JUST be Los Santos. San Fierro and Las Venturas would be cool....I'm hoping they throw even more cities in the mix. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but from the trailer this looks like the return to form I've been waiting for.

I've always thought that GTA 4 was the kind of game where the developers were trying to adjust to the new hardware and spent much more time on developing the atmosphere rather than the gameplay (which was a mistake IMO). I think that with this game, given that they were able to accomplish some awesome stuff in Red Dead and bring back of a few of the elements from SA that I liked along with the fact that they've already developed all of their tools already to make this game, I'm pretty confident this game will be the de facto shit.

No, it's just going to be the one city. But they've already said it will be bigger than any other GTA game. Just because it's just one city doesn't mean that it will only cover the Los Santos area from San Andreas. GTA3 and 4 were both Liberty City but obviously they weren't the same size/layout.

I really enjoyed exploring the desert, hoover dam, etc in San Andreas I am glad there will be some area in the "country" though in this game. I'm fucking pumped. I'm going to roll by grove street first thing and see what's up with CJ and crew. (of course CJ was pretty baller by the end of my game, and had houses all over the damn state.)

As much as I'd love to see the entire world from GTA:SA, Los Santos is still probably the best single city of any GTA game (you could argue Liberty too I suppose)
