and as for the "registered sex offender" crap- this is in no way comparable to kiddie touchers and rapist. This is someone who got too drunk and ran around naked- if that is something that we need to be on the look out for, then I know about 200 "sexual predators."

If you honestly think this is something you feel you would need to know about your neighbors, then I think you might be the fuddiest of the duddiest tight asses out there

The only thing more retarded than making someone a registered sex offender for streaking is making them one because they were 16 and texting dirty pictures of themselves.

Diluting the list?

Explain to me how children are in more danger if more people are on the list for non assault charges.

I thought our society was cool with penis now since it is so mainstream in comedy movies.

yeah I mean he's definitely a moron, nobody is arguing with that. it's even dumber that he made it his profile pic.

he had 45 new friends this morning, most of which were girls who wrote on his wall asking for his number.

also, read the article about it today and there's a shit ton of parents that commented saying they were going to sue him in court because their kids saw it.

he says he isn't worried about it. knew he was going to get arrested so he told the dumbasses with him to get a bail bondsman immediately so he was out within 45 mins or whatever. he says he's gonna get it "dropped for cheap". I think not.

But think of the children! I take my children to football games so they can hang out with drunks and watch men brutalize each other for sport. Catching a glimpse of a penis before I cover their eyes is unacceptable!

Seriously, this pic alone is so worth it.

If you all are so comfortable with nudity then why do you make such a big deal out of streaking? Why is it so 'hilarious' and 'worth it'

^^^I don't pretend to be completely comfortable with nudity or streaking. I also won't pretend I'm so uncomfortable that I have to sue on behalf of my traumatized children. Still, because it's so uncommon, someone randomly/spontaneously dancing naked in front of you is decidedly uncomfortable. Perhaps a level of discomfort is part of what makes it so funny...regardless, it's definitely funny. And I suspect that nudity has been considered funny across many cultures/regions for a long time.

I will never understand why doing something hilarious doesn't mitigate (or even eliminate in some cases) the illegalness of it.

If it's funny as fuck, you should obviously get a much leaner penalty than someone who is molesting children.

If you're offended as a parent you are a fucking loser and your kids probably hate you

I have to say, I was at the game, 45 yard line near the front row...I found it hilarious. He evaded a tackle better than anyone on the football team could. The pelvic thrusting at midfield was a nice touch, but there was too much flopping going on for my taste.

Serious question: if he had worn a thong..would he still have the same charges since he wouldn't have been technically 'naked'..like that guy that did it earlier in the year @ UCLA?

Let's not overlook that the child molester is also going to spend some years in prison.

I think similar arguments come up in response to civil disobedience. It's like, someone violated the law as a demonstration of violating the law.

Hey, there's always the possibility of a faithless juror, although who knows if this is severe enough to get to that point in the first place. Ultimately the enforcement of the laws must be (and is) a democratic process.

I suppose it's too optimistic that the guy who does something stupid is going to suddenly stop doing stupid things, but I don't think whoring the event up on Facebook is going to help his case. It's funny to watch, sure. Funny and sad.

I work at ECU and I heard some coworkers talking about the physical copy. Apparently, it's on the actual paper too. Plus the nutsack quote is embedded in another photo (a censored one).... in the black box. Genius.

There was an attendance of 50,200 or something close to that. That wonderful staff over at the student paper are great fact & spelling error checkers.
