I used to work at a starbucks. On thanksgiving/christmas, every 2 or 3 customers would say "I can't believe they make you work on [holiday]"

I use to work a terrible job at a Food Lion in Concord. I remember working the day before and on Thanksgiving. I'm all for having a close family, but I just don't see the big deal. As far as "I have to work at midnight so I'll be sleeping all day on Thanksgiving", I have to call bullshit. Anyone who has worked a part time job while attending school has had those days where you have little-to-no sleep for extended periods of time and still have to work. I mean, it sucks, but suck it up and go to work.

hahaha I'm so glad I stopped working there before those shenanigans began. With how big of a douchebag the average Starbucks customer becomes between Black Friday and Christmas Eve, I can only imagine what they're like on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

The holidays are a big part of the reason I quit circuit city a few yrs ago. Having to wake up at 2am on black Friday really fucked up my thanksgiving day.
