I imagine it happened pretty fast. I guess that a majority of people would stand there in shock and not know what to do or not be able to do it even if they did.

there is a warehouse style elevator in the phytotron. I have been told more than once not to use it at night because if it gets stuck no one can get to you for a few hours.

I took 3 trips carrying soil up 4 flights so I didn't have to get on that piece of shit past 3pm, I was terrified that crazy shit would happen and because of exams being over everyone would leave early.
