I saw an anchor on MSNBC yesterday that was so ugly I had to change the channel. Her hair looked like it had been washed in chicken grease, no makeup, and fucked up teeth.

The liberals on MSNBC can empower women all day, but they need to learn people don't want to look at fug-lies on TV. They need to groom themselves. You dont see Megyn Kelly coming to work at Fox looking like ass, and she getting paaaaaid.

man, MSNBC used to be my favorite of the 3 cable news channels back about 10 years ago...for the last 5+ years, though, they've gone full retard.

TV in general has gone full retard, for that matter. I can't watch Piers Morgan anymore, because he can't do a single fucking interview without diverting it to gun control, and the options on MSNBC and Fox are Rachel Maddow and Sean Hannity, respectively. You have got to be shitting me.

Can't watch Discovery/Nat Geo/Animal Planet/History/TLC/Speed/etc, because they're all fucking reality shows.

I pretty much only watch CNBC in the mornings and old shows on Huluplus. MSNBC is completely unwatchable, Fox is only slight less grating on the nerves. CNN stopped actually being news about 6 years ago.

I've recently developed a bit of a crush on Amanda Drury, the accent definitely helps.

Yeah, I can't wait for my cable contract to run out. I'm shitcanning cable on that day and just using my AppleTV with Hulu or Netflix, and a broadcast HD antenna. I'll miss out on a lot of what I watch (news), but as discussed, those channels are shitty now, too, so whatever.

What's the primary difference between AppleTV and say... the Roku HD I just bought a couple months ago?

Primarily that I already have AppleTV.

AppleTV does Apple Airplay (you can play stuff from your Mac or iPhone over your stereo and TV), or play stuff from your iTunes account, etc.

It'll also do YouTube natively (i.e., not just airplay), and has stuff for various pro sports, etc. It has Netflix and Hulu access built in.

All I really use it for right now is Airplay and music (although typically, I play CDs instead of iTunes).
