honestly, Christianity has little claim to Christmas due to the reasons laid out in that article.

Christmas is a firm tradition of the modern Western world. What more identity do you need? I would rather it NOT be particularly Christian, after all, think about how broadly it's celebrated. People in Asian nations who couldn't give a fuck about the biblical basis for the holiday celebrate it now, and that's the way I like it.

I like for the traditions in my life to not have a religious foundation. So this is really a +1 for Christmas.

not sure if it has been mentioned, but the list is pretty redundant. 4-6 are all pretty much the same thing, as are 3,7 and 8. Not that I disagree with a lot of the points dude man makes, but honestly, they are not the reasons I have started to grow a disdain for the holiday
