I hope you aren't saying it is too low- if so, what the hell are you talking about? people speed too much on that road as it is. If I can't turn left off Wade without getting honked at because some ass hat is going 20 mph over the speed limit, then fuck em- I hope they get a ticket. Same for not being able to turn out on to that road. The road is not a terribly wide road, cutting through a huuuuge residential area. if 35-40 mph can't get you downtown fast enough, then move the hell down town.

people speeding on that road really does piss me off, especially since I see accidents all the time resulting from it (that and people running red lights). There are too many blind spots due to hills and turns to even possibly consider upping it, and I am all for the police patrolling it more often due to there sheer volume of idiots trying to get to work quicker or get home earlier.

I think the inspections of today are dumb...I mean aren't they called saftey inspections? I remember when my mom would take her car to get inspected...she didn't even need to get out of the car. They would go around check the tires, make sure the headlights, breaklights, and turn singles work. She had to honk the horn. Probably a few other things...they checked the things that would effect others on the road...now they check everything...I mean if you're not going to keep up with your car then it's your own damn fault that your engine fails.

Not to mention how easy it is to pass an unsafe car.

We have a POS Corolla that passed safety inspection recently despite the fact that it vibrates violently at highway speeds and is spewing power steering fluid all over the engine. All we had to do was replace a worn tire with a cheap used one, new wipers, top off the power steering and hose down the engine compartment.
