UVa lives off points inside the arc. I doubt they get those against us.

They don't shoot threes at all. That's our main weakness defensively.

Defensively they are horrid.

They are hopelessly short and have zero depth.

I like NC State vs the spread. This has all the makings of a 30+ point game that might only be a 15 point spread.

Uva plays at nearly the slowest pace in the country but their defense is still top notch particularly their absurd defensive rebounding strength. Sene being out weakens them in both categories though.

Harris and Scott are better than anyone we have, but the rest of their team is exceedingly average.

Can't afford to let uva dictate the pace too much because we're not a great halfcourt offense.

Find zeglinski on defense while he roams the perimeter looking for open threes. Don't take the ball up around Atkins because he's a freakish shot blocker.

Uva defends the drive and dish as well as anyone in the country without fouling and they defend the 3pter very aggressively.

Uva has played a weak schedule but they've shut down nearly everyone they've faced.

Lastly, do NOT foul mike Scott. He goes to the line entirely too much for a guy who shoots 80% FT.


Our main concern is poor shooting and turnovers bc we won't get many second chances and its easy to get frustrated against a team that plays this slowly.
