hated it. Stage/lights were awesome. Madonna needed help with anything besides walking, and the one time she tried something by herself, she almost fell off of the bleacher. Everyone lip synched, just horrid.

The halftimes they had in the mid 00s that didn't have headliners but were rather like a an ensemble concert filled with pop stars were probably worse even than BEPs

And the halftime show was okay. There have been a lot worse. Madonna is getting old as fuck. She can't move like she did 20+ years ago and it was kind of painful to watch. But they visuals were cool and they threw in enough stuff to make it interesting.

I'm not complaining.

I mean they didn't hack up any songs that weren't meant to be hacked up so... i'm cool with that..

I'm happy to say I avoided this trash. Flipped over to the Animal Planet and watched the Puppy Bowl's Kitty half time show. Was way better than that Madonna crap.

i didn't think it was that bad, either...i wasn't blown away, but it was entertaining

those guys doing their routine down the bleachers, as well as the richard simmons-looking fella on that tightrope (i know it wasn't a rope, per se...more like a wide strap) was impressive, IMO

I hear that lip-syncing occurs because the short timetable for preparation doesn't allow for soundchecks and the like. I'm amazed they got an elaborate stage set up and working.

I thought the Foo Fighters would have been a good choice. They have mass appeal and just put out a great album last year. Bottom line is you can't please everyone though. Some of my friends said they would have chose someone like Drake and I was like 'I don't even know who that is'.

I'm not sure if they were playing the feed a few seconds behind the actual live feed or what, or if they saw her hand go up and were scurred but they made sure Bham didn't see anything - we thought there was another wardrobe malfunction but it was like a few seconds of some random local affiliate schedule (which funny enough said something stupid like "now" 7 times for random things)
