Calm down."

lol well you specifically asked if any other women didn't like pinterest, and indeed in the thread at least one other woman had posted that she didn't like it. what did you expect?

I said I instantly replied to topic first before reading the thread.

No need to get smart, that is all.

LOL

Thank you Klatypus, for that.

"Considering its deep catalog of hair tips, cutesy recipes, and DIY home décor resources, it might not come as a surprise that Pinterest's users are overwhelmingly female. In fact, 97 percent of people who like Pinterest's Facebook page are women, TechCrunch reported, citing data from Inside Network's AppData.

Pinterest has more than 10.4 million registered members. AppData, which monitors apps on Facebook, said Pinterest has about 9.3 million users per month and an average of 2 million users each day - up from 810,000 daily users earlier this year. Daily users make up about one-fifth of Pinterest's total user base, AppData found.

There is also data that indicates Pinterest could be the fastest-growing independent site of all time. In a separate report, TechCrunch recently pointed to comScore data, which found that Pinterest reached 11.7 million unique visitors last month. Founded in May, that means it took it just nine months to pass the 10 million mark - faster than any other standalone site in the United States.

To put that into context, when Pinterest launched, it had 418,000 unique monthly visitors and by the last month of 2011 it had 7.5 million.

AppData's stats corroborate stats from comScore, which also noted that Pinterest's growth has been driven by women. It's interesting to note that this rapidly growing site hasn't been boosted by the typical early adopter sets on the East and West Coasts, but rather a stronghold of women ages 18-34 located in middle America.

But the site's meteoric rise is not without controversy. There have been claims that in order to monetize, Pinterest is modifying users' pins without informing them.

For more on Pinterest, check out this infographic that shows the site is driving more traffic to retailers' Web sites than Google+. "

Oh it didn't offend. And to be honest, you are probably right for a large percentage of their user-base.
