I do agree that the theory of evolution is fallible (just like the atomic model was for centuries) it isn't going to lose any validity just because some college newspaper writer chose to voice some banal and ill-prepared arguments against it. I don't understand why people have to cling wholeheartedly to one side of an issue. Science doesn't preclude the existence of God and religious people have historically been the main supporters of scientific research until recently.

Honestly, I could care less if animals were evolved or not. In Genesis, all it says is basically God created these things. It doesn't say how, except for man, that he was made in God's image and from the dust.

It's quite possible that evolution is 100% legit, and that God still created everything. I can agree with that, but I cannot agree with any suggestion that this is a Godless world.

I love how religion defines as it's highest ideal is faith. So the more you turn a blind eye to reality, the more pious you are and the fact that you can't prove God exists mean that their belief makes them that much better people. The pride in their own ignorance is the really annoying thing.

Public humiliation really isn't that bad when you've got that. In some cases, it can make you feel even better about yourself. Emotionally it's difficult to stand on your own (when you're arguing something dumb), but it's not for this.
