I had a Raleigh PD tell me that if someone gives them trouble (such as taking off running from a traffic stop) all they have to do is shout "stop resisting" even if they are laying on the ground already and it gives them the green flag to stomp, kick, punch the alleged victim. Since it is the criminals word against the police's....

I generally don't like the type of people who choose to be policemen, generally speaking, but a very nice State Trooper helped me this weekend. Or, at least he was nice and friendly in this particular instance.

He really wanted to tase you multiple times, then shoot you dead for shaking so violently, but too many people were around.

my friend's dog was lost over the weekend and when cops spotted him and saw an the dog he was shot

Gotcha...that was worded weird. Thought there was maybe two dogs. Were the owners nearby? Any other details? Just curious...

That sucks bad. I'd freak the fuck out if anyone shot my dog...regardless of whether or not it was a cop. I'd mostly likely do something that would cause me to go to jail.

no the dog was lost and they spent the whole weekend looking for him, I am not sure how they found out, but they know a cop shot him, so they are asking for an investigation.

it just sucks, that is my worst nightmare is my slightly insane stranger-unfriendly dog getting out and then getting killed, but that would not be as surprising as this dog being shot. Dozer is a super happy go lucky dog.
