I've never heard of a cable-sales street team, but there sure as shit are 3rd parties selling time warner cable. although it's probably a better idea (as previously mentioned ITT) to take whatever deal they offer (even the extras) to TWC and have them match it.

Apparently you do need help.

Part of signing up is first making sure that the avenue you are taking is legit and going from there.

It's not hard to find out whether or not something like this is legit or a scam.

So whether you realize it or not, you do in fact, need help signing up for TWC.

The first step to solving a problem, is realizing you have one.

I don't need a man to take care of me, I have a college degree, I have a full time job, and own my own house

If the OP can't tell that what happened to her was a scam then she deserves to get scammed. Jesus fucking christ, how dense can you possibly be?

just call twc and ask to verify an employee or be referred to a sales associate (who can then offer deals). At least you didn't give your SSN#, and for future reference don't give your number to anyone you don't know, if you really want what they have, you can find it online/someone who can sell it to you for a good price.
