That article's a non-starter. CRT was always about race hierarchies, but focused on white supremacy since that was (and is) the race hierarchy in the place where CRT was developed (The USA). Unless they were to talk about it strictly in the abstract and never try to connect it with reality, it's inevitable that the conversation turns to white supremacy, since it's the most ubiquitous racial hierarchy and arguably the dominant one globally.
