no bad mojo here, i don't expect us to win the tourney. was just offering my opinion for the hypothetical question. if i had to predict, i say we win tomorrow and lose to UNC saturday. although i'll be rooting like hell for maryland to pull an upset out of their ass to give us a shot at making it to the final.

^quite possible. even so, this will have been a much better year than expected and i've got very high hopes for next year. sure it will suck, but the future is bright. i think we will take care of business though. i think a more likely scenario is we win and then still get screwed out of making the dance. (more likely than losing in epic fashion tomorrow).

Since we're on the topic of the hypothetical; if beating UVA gets us in the tourney, and Maryland were to beat UNC, would losing to Maryland in the semis knock us back out of the tourney again? If that were the case, I'd rather just lose to unc again.

Maryland isn't on the radar unless they win it all. switch that scenario out with Miami and we may have a problem.
