it's one thing to suggest bikes don't belong on the road with cars

but to suggest they belong on sidewalks is insane

the speed difference between bikes and pedestrians is many times greater than the difference between cars and bikes

who cares about the speed difference? when's the last time somebody died in a bicycle / pedestrian accident?

the weight difference between cyclists and cars is many times greater than the difference between cyclists and pedestrians

^^they are actually quite different. different muscles are used, in walking at least one foot is always on the ground, etc.
