someone should tell me that you shouldn't put your head under the water when swimming because then the lake bacteria can get in through your face orifices.

yeah a lot of times there is nowhere to park, and parking is prohibited (and enforced) anywhere but the lot

It looked like the closest safe place to park aside from the main lot (the one that fills up) might be a grocery store parking lot on the other side of the tracks which is probably another mile away.

Probably will have to plan for dropoff / driver walk kind of deal.

^^^ the quarry is NOT the same one as the one in durham. Durham County is not the same as Moore County.
