Today I assisted in building a new front porch for a veteran with pulmonary fibrosis, so that a wheel chair ramp can now be installed.

I'm the first person in my family to advance past a bachelor's degree. Pretty proud of that. Also the first one to go south of the equator (not a sexual reference, I mean the thing that separates the northern and southern hemispheres).

About to go to Africa, and to an even more fucked-up country than the one where my dad served. I don't know if Peace Corps people judge each other based on country shittiness...but I sure as shit do.
