i lol't

If only there was just a single solid black snake in the world, maybe then "black snake" would be an appropriate term. The fact is, there are several black snakes in the state. The most common around Raleigh are the "black rat snake" and the "black racer". If the snake moved very slowly when approached or disturbed, it was likely a black rat snake. If the snake hauled ass at a speed where it would outrun your fat ass, it was likely a black racer.

Yeah...The Old Timers in Eastern NC called them "Cottonmouth" or "Cotton Candy Mouth" for this exact reason. It seems like people over ~50 are more likely to know what you're talking about if you say you saw a "Cotton Candy Mouth" than if you say it was a "Water Moccasin."

in the old days, when people would get very sick, they'd actually seek to get bitten by these cotton candy mouths. known far and wide for its' soft and comfy bite.

I think it's neat that a lot of people on TWW are pretty nice to shoot because he obviously doesn't know the English language very well. But at what point do you start to consider that maybe he suffers from dual problems of not knowing the language and being a fucking retard? I'm not saying that for sure this is the case, but I'm really starting to wonder.

I didn't know water moccasins and cottonmouths were the same thing. Learn something new every day.

I was tempted to post a snake, but was a bit worried. My exs are a bit mixed on trouser snakes.
