That's rather depressing to threaten suicide and have most people not care very much.

I would like to think that when I start sending suicidal messages my friends would care a lot. I try be there when people post this sort of stuff on Facebook.

Calling the cops is kind of a "meh" response too. A really good friend would just go visit and hang out I think. Unless the person lashes out and and is vile. Those people die alone.

I say call the cops because I am pretty sure she is just doing this for attention, and it would let her know how serious a claim like that is, and how she should not fuck around with that.

i don't know her, so this may not be true...but i think it's fairly common for some people to threaten without any intent of going through with it

obviously it's still a cry for attention help (you've got to be fucked up in the head to threaten to kill yourself solely for attention), but it wouldn't surprise me if she's threatened before

and no, i'm not saying that she SHOULD follow through with it...just that you can only cry wolf so many times before people stop paying attention
