Before I continue, I believe that pot and pretty much every drug should be decriminalized. But it's not, so...


I'm all for using it to help alleviate pain, but most cases of prescribed medical marijuana are complete bullshit. Like OP's.

This should be used for chemo patients... and that's about it. Along with some mild pain relief, it can help with the nausea associated with the radiation treatments. Any other excuse is just some reaching pothead trying to justify smoking pot legally.

All combustible material produces carcinogens when burned. You are directly applying poison to you internal organs. And yes, smoking pot can lead to lung cancer. Just like cigarettes. You are no safer. And it is no less of a filthy habit.

That, and it lasts longer when I eat it as opposed to smoking it. I made a 9x11 sheet of brownies with 1 gram of hash.

1 brownie keeps me pain free and high for hours.

sure, like with most things, ABUSE of alcohol can be bad for you, but alcohol in and of itself is not detrimental for the average person

you're still wrong...by definition, alcohol is not poisonous to the average person

furthermore, there is no such thing as "alcohol poisoning" (by definition) unless you suffer from alcohol intolerance and at that point, it's like making a blanket statement that milk is a poison because some folks can't process lactose

Bottom Line:

Alcohol can kill you from an acute drinking experience. Ciggs and alcohol will kill you, or make you very sick, with long term chronic use, unless you are freak-anomally.

Pot has zero recorded deaths. And some research has found that the carcinogenic effects of its combusted material are no where near as risky as tobacco.

Pot is much less of a danger to your health than alcohol or tobacco.

alcohol is NOT detrimental in moderation (for the average person)...in fact, there are health benefits to regular alcohol consumption (and no, i'm not referring only to the benefits of drinking red wine)
