I do have to wonder why the NBA ever bothered to have a franchise in NC since college bball is so huge here. I don't remember anybody ever really giving a shit about the Hornets and I damn sure don't know anyone who gives a shit about the Bobcats.

I agree with the author's assertion that college bball is more exciting than professional bball. There's something to be said for seeing shittier players on the court perform for little other reason than to bring their school glory as opposed to watching hacks play for an egregiously oversized paycheck.
