leaving tomorrow!

getting into Madrid at 8:30am Saturday, taking the 10:30 high-speed train to Barcelona (which was 2x more than flying, but I thought it would be a better experience to take the train), where we arrive at our 5* hotel I booked for $155/night (!!!) in the Las Ramblas area.

On Tuesday we're flying to Ibiza, where the plan is to stay for a few days to party, trollop around the island, etc.

Then I'd like to fly to Lisbon for a couple days, then fly/ride back to Madrid for our flight home on the 24th.

Thoughts/ideas?

I thought it was this thread that I posted about this place in Barcelona, but it must have been another one...but you have to go to this place:

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g187497-d697464-Reviews-Can_Paixano-Barcelona_Catalonia.html

It's a mad house during their "happy hour" (which I can't remember what time that was, of course)...but that's when you have to go. You get bottles of cava for something like 3 euros and really cheap, delicious tapas. It's a little hole in the wall down a side street...just a really cool, delicious, cheap place.

And just make sure you hit up all the Gaudi stuff and go to their market (which is open every day except Sunday). Their market is ridiculous (it's off Ramblas I believe...so you should be close). Drink a ton of Spanish wine...its the best, IMO.

^Can Paixano is actually on my "to-do" list, thanks to your recommendation I found in another thread I searched for

I looked it up on trip advisor and a lot of people seem to agree with you. I'm very excited!
