1. Turn on the shower to full heat and shut the bathroom door to get the steam going
2. Give it a couple minutes
3. wet the blade of the razor and shave with the grain
4. If you so desire, take a shower and work the water/soap into your skin and then shave again, this time against the grain for a closer shave.
