Well I know that back in the day we didn't go to Village Inn Pizza because it was particularly good, we went there because we could fill up one of those large styrofoam takeout trays to go for like $0.86.

Pretty sure that's the highest grossing Bojangles in existence, at least that's what they told their managers in training
^and so true about Wendy's, when I lived on Gorman I could go to Wendy's drive thru and be back home eating faster then it would take to go through the line inside

not exactly Western Blvd but getting drunk in the dollar theater was always a good time.
i remember we went to some movie there and as soon as the lights dimmed for previews, you could hear the sound of the whole theater opening cans. 7/12/2012 8:31:14 AM

I didn't get out to Western as much as Hillsborough, but that's mostly because they majority of places I lived were closer to H-boro. Only went to Amedeo's, Taco Bell, Miami Subs/Pap Lou's a few times, Ten Ten just once. The majority of the time I ate at Bojangles, KFC, Cookout, Wendy's. I remember some Italian-type place opened up in 2007 close to Village Pizza, but I can't remember what the name of it was or if it's still there. Very sad to see Dairy Queen replaced by Dunkin Donuts. In my later years, I used the laundromat that's in the Food Lion shopping center. I typically was the only white person in the place, but it was great entertainment for 1-2 hours & never felt unsafe or anything. 7/12/2012 8:56:07 AM

I have no idea how that Dunkin Donuts is still open, there's never more than a single car in the parking lot. They must have a massive early morning rush everyday or something that I don't know about. 7/12/2012 9:01:33 AM
