Thought about walking out of Troy right after they killed Agamemnon, but didn't bother

mostly because I was curious how much farther they'd stray from Homer after that

some of these movies make me wonder why you would "walk in" in the first place

you can look the other way all you want, he keeps bringing it up because he obviously wishes something would come of it. play with that

My friends and I walked out near the end of Zoolander.

Too much stupid comedy for one, sober sitting.

I'm so glad I didn't see Tree of Life in theaters. That would definitely have been my very first walk-out experience. SO BAD.

I don't typically pay to see shitty movies. Why are you people putting yourself in these situations in the first place?

whatever happened to "i'm unsure about this movie and will wait to see it on DVD/TV"

but i guess some people want the big screen experience no matter what

they want to people to flaunt that they paid to take their fat little girlfriends to a movie, and then flaunt their level of sophistication and lack of financial concern by leaving the movie early.

its totally hipster

never walked out of a movie because i didn't like it (although i have wanted to a few times)

I got kicked out of Terminator 2 when I was a kid because we bought tickets for another movie and snuck into T2 (we got caught )

imagine how weird it would be to walk into the last 20 minutes of The Usual Suspects

and how much you'd hate yourself for being such a dumbass

I didn't see it at the theater (thank God!), but after about 5 minutes I had to change the channel when I tried to watch Super Mario Brothers the Movie.

i walked out of Wrong Turn and Weatherman. they both sucked in their own ways.

they were also both free (worked at a theater for Wrong Turn and had a free preview pass for Weatherman) so i didnt feel any obligation to get my money's worth.

Would have walked out of the A-team and Red if I wasn't with a group of friends who were enjoying them.

Legion was about the worst movie I've ever seen on the big screen. Didn't walk out but it was horrible.

I've never walked out of a movie but I wanted to walk out of The Hills Have Eyes. The only reason I didn't was because I was with someone else.

Didn't walk out, but fell asleep during Mr. Deeds and had no problem going back to sleep when friends realized I was asleep and woke me up.

Only movie I've ever walked out on was Alexander.

I came REALLY close during Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter though

I go to watch a movie for two reasons:

1) I really want to go see that particular movie; and/or

2) I have absolutely nothing else better to do for two hours.

If it's #1, then it's usually a decent and watchable movie AT THE LEAST.

If it's #2, then I've already paid some dollar bucks and I'm going to stick it out because I have nothing else better to do.

I actually can't even remember one that was bad enough to where I even thought about it. Recently, Rum Diaries and Priest were pretty fucking bad...but I stuck it out.

I know what people are saying in regards to Alexander...but I actually kind of enjoyed it. Was definitely a little too long, but I like movies about that era.

Agree in principle until I moved a few hundred yards away from a big 22 screen megaplex earlier this year. Now when its 100 degrees out I see movies that I wouldn't normally qualify as 'big screen worthy' just because its so convenient and its something to do. I also can smoke right before I go so even bad movies keep my interest, at least until I run out of popcorn.

I've never walked out of a movie. I don't go see movies that I think are bad.
The first movie that comes to mind that I stopped watching (at home) is Pootie Tang. I thought it was awful.

Only one I can think of was Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was horrible even for a kid's movie. Even my daughter thought it sucked--when she said she didn't like it and wanted to leave, we were outta there.

I walked out on Mortal Kombat Annihilation because my friend was bitching about it.

I wish I'd walked out of Chronicles of Narnia.

Only movies I've ever rented and then stopped watching were the Royal Tennenbaums and The Life Aquatic.

I walked out of "The Smurfs" today. (free movie morning at the Raleigh Grande... we take our summer camp kids there)

not that I really intended on staying... i was there to make sure the camps got in, got their popcorn, didn't lose any kids, etc.

^^I've been to that theater. I lived a few blocks from there. Also I've been in a public shooting event (though he was only trying to kill one person not the rest of us).

Not getting on you for making a joke just I'm sad.
