I think it's simply the though that it's stuck there vs a ring or barbell that can move.

I want the anchors BC the skin there moves around a lot and if there's a bar or something that doesn't allow the skin to move freely I feel like it would never heal/reject

The guy my friend got hers from apparently doesn't work at blue flame anymore so I need to find someone else with experience in doing them

That's actually a good idea. My guiche still has days where it gets irritated if I do too much physical stuff and it's 6 months old. Having just one post would significantly decrease both the amount of skin that can be irritated and the external leverage the jewelry has on the skin.

It's still creepy.
