just wondering
for the pro-speeders out there, at what point do you draw the line? has anyone ever flown by you and you thought to yourself "I never even saw that fucker come up on me, thats not safe"? 100? 120? 150? 8/2/2012 4:39:57 PM

Sure. It's called speed differential, which depends on the traffic volume and speeds. If it's only me and the zoomer, I don't really care. If it's a pretty busy highway and grandma is going 45 in a 65 in the left lane, I care a lot because she's going to cause a wreck. Same with the asshole going 90 and weaving through traffic.q

There's no set number. It depends largely on the conditions, the road itself, and the traffic. Highways with entrance/exit ramps are far different than highways with driveways and intersecting streets for example.
I get pissed at speeders all the time, but usually not solely for the fact that they're speeding. The ones who fly up on my bumper and change lanes at the last second or weave in and out of lanes without signalling irk me the most.
Just because someone passes me going 90 on I-40 might not raise a red flag. If they were going 120 on a long empty stretch as they caught up to me it's not going to bother me as long as they are in a sound vehicle, are driving attentively, and ease off the gas as they approach other packs of cars.

That has nothing to do with speeding and everything to do with reckless driving. Learn the difference. 8/2/2012 5:31:01 PM

My husband got a speeding ticket going 15 over in Orange Co about a year ago. He had already used his PJC for another 15 over ticket. He represented himself in court with his driving record from the DMV. The DA said she would give him faulty equipment ticket if he took an online driving class. Husband received certificate and took it back on his new court date. Paid fines. Done. 8/2/2012 6:54:46 PM

^Haha, I picture some guy showing up in court with a degree-style piece of paper saying so-and-so is a good driver. What's a PJC? 8/2/2012 7:28:50 PM
