I wonder how much crime occurred around other parts of raleigh due to all the police being on one fucking street trying to stop college kids from having a party.

^Underage drinking is the most important crime to control, so the other crimes didn't really matter.

I made a 170-mph run with my GSX-R on the outer loop during a Brent road night one time, specifically because every cop within 200 miles was on Brent Road.

Way back in the day...good times. I remember showing up in '94 on crutches. I had broken my ankle two weeks' prior. I was on pain meds. And drunk as shit. The cops had like a checkpoint down at Gorman but that was it. Damn, I miss those days.

I was at the '99 party, had a great time. Stayed until the cops got in a line shoulder-to-shoulder at the top of the hill and started walking down toward the end of the street herding all of the kids out of there.
