My argument is that arming everyone will cause mayhem when a gunman opens fire in a highly populated area. From one shooter comes multiple plain-clothes shooters, nobody knows who the initial aggressor is, then the police arrive and don't know who the fucking criminal is.

It's common sense that the cops will announce themselves and it's common sense that the"good guy"will drop to the ground not wanting to be shot. It's also common sense that cops are trained to deal with situations where there are potential victims in the area. Simple analogies and thought experiments aren't valid, especially even comparing an active crime scene to a "shoot on sight" warzone

I have 3 guns, and people who have guns who are civilized use them for sport or protection. I also have my my concealed carry. There is no reason why I, a law abiding citizen should not be able to protect anything even if its not mine if something wrong were to happen. I have a video that you can probably relate to.

I trust anyone with a CCW to carry said weapon...

I trust someone with a CCW permit to own any (not class 3) weapon.

I believe gun control on assault weapons should be this:

have an AWP (assault weapons permit) that requires additional classes and background checks for any weapon with a capacity over 10 rounds.

Keep track of these people and check in on them after a trauma or a recent purchase of a significant amount of weapons or ammo.

But banning them is just fucking stupid they're loads of fun and no more dangerous than having a car is. In NYC you could kill and injure this many people with a car easier than with a gun.

The "weapons ban" douche nozzles have 2 things in common
1. they don't trust themselves with a gun, thus don't want others to have one.
2. they don't like to blame people for their actions, these are the same people who sued the baseball bat company because there kid was made retarded by a line drive, or that sued mcdonalds for making them fat...or because they spilled hot coffee on their own lap.
