Damn. 40 bucks a month to get a pool and no greens fees? That's a hell of a deal.

As to the web site...I don't know why the police are even involved here. If a crime is occurring, call 911. If it's not a crime, i.e. people complaining about dog poop, tall grass, and the like, then a site like this is a good idea but doesn't need to be monitored by the police.

true story: when i was a kid (8ish?) i played soccer for "the all stars". Our jerseys had these weird little pocket things and they had a yellow (5 point) star on it. Someone complained about it and asked to make it white because Hitler made the Jews wear yellow stars. I didn't learn about this until a few years ago, but we did get new jerseys that year.

It's not like reviewing the reports takes an officer on the street. It goes to some person in that office who reviews these kinds of things and sends them to appropriate people, probably easier and fewer resources for them to filter these than answer dumb phone calls.
