He's got a point though. I've been to strip clubs for bachelor parties, but wouldn't go for any other reason. Maybe I just haven't been to a "classy" place, but the appeal of oogling women never balanced out all the other creepy elements. I went to one and it was way more on the depressing side. It was on bourbon st and my friends took me when they found out I'd never been. As soon as I walked in some girl was grabbing my ass (I was a little confused) but the girls on stage lacked any kind of enthusiasm and really looked sad with their job/situation. They bought a lap dance which was pretty terrible and the girl smelled like a gym sock from the strenuous dancing I guess? I asked if she liked her job.. interesting conversation.
