I know NCCU, Duke, UNC, ECU do and probably several more around the state. One downside to Pat McCrory winning (even I can see that he's going to win) is that the GOP will take over the Wake Board of Elections as a result. That doesn't bode well for the future of on campus voting being allowed at NCSU.

Did anybody else have to deal with long lines?

If so, are there usually chairs for old people to sit in while they wait in line?

Absent at my location (Charlotte), but was wondering if that's the case everywhere?

Saw several old couples leave because they knew they couldn't stand 1hr+.

I find this to be unfortunate.

The NC GOP controlling the General Assembly turned down a one time offer from the feds of $4 million to help with election equipment, supplies, more early voting, more curbside and accessible voting, and poll worker training. No idea if that would have made a difference in chair availability at more sites in this case, but our state economy and election system could have used that money. But many GOP were openly against early voting, and they couldn't take the money without it going to help everything including early voting, so they turned it down.

Voted yesterday. I was in line behind a busload of first time voters (all voting for Obama). After I voted I heard the lady that brought them say "I am going to pick up another load, I will be back shortly." If this is indicative of other voting sites, Romney is in trouble.

I have long been angry and frustrated with a healthcare system where healthy people can opt out of the insurance pool and sick people can be thrown out via "pre-existing conditions". I would have accepted a solution from either party, but after 30 years of debating I feel that each party has had their chance. I don't want to see those gains rolled back.

The polls are open from 6:30am to 7:30pm tomorrow.

If you didn't get a chance to early vote or absentee vote, and if you need to find out where you vote tomorrow, you can do that here. Put in your name and county here, and then look for where it says "My Polling Location" for the name and address for the location.

If you don't immediately recognize the place (hopefully you will, it should be near where you live) then you can click on "Directions & Images" to get a map there and to see pictures of the place which will make it easier to recognize when you get there (that and all the campaign signs and vote here signs).

Unlikely early voting, you can't vote anywhere in your county, you have to vote at your specific precinct location. On the off chance you end up at the wrong place and don't have time to get to the right place you can request a provisional, but if you can get to the right place then go there.

The last thing I'll emphasize is that if you are in line by the time polls close, you get to vote, no matter how long it takes. Early voting had higher turnout across NC than in 2008, so hopefully lines wont be too bad, but as long as you're in line by 7:30pm you get to vote even if the line is a mile long.
